Donora – This Heart

Donora, hailing from Pittsburgh PA, is brother/sister Jake & Casey Hanner and bassist Jake Churton. “This Heart” is Donora’s new single released on October 6th and will be featured on their new album “Sun To Me” set to release October 27th via Rostrum Records.

Jake Hanner met the future lead singer of his band a few hours after she was born. He was disappointed she was a girl and cried. Eighteen years later, Jake got over it, and he and sister Casey decided to start a band.

“This Heart” is a killer of a head-nodding indie pop track, packed with smooth, exciting changes and powerful the entire time. “Donora” sure is a skilful, talented threesome and Casey’s vocals are edgy, expressive and dynamic. “Does your heart stop beating”? Well, listening to this one it only beats faster!

“This Heart” is about living passionately, diving into each moment without hesitation. It can be exhausting, but it’s the only way to live and to love.
