Left Me Lost is a real turning point in the relationship cycle. It sees the narrator not only accept that it’s over but retrospectively and candidly explore what lead to the relationships demise. Left Me Lost exceeds the typical boundaries of a record by encapsulating an intrinsic facet of the story of the VP, and the writer. On the brink of imminent transition, and potentially losing the voice he had just found, the young trans artist chose to use his voice as an instrument and creative opportunity. Manipulating vocals in pitch and effect as a prosodic feature and sub plot, is a thread that runs throughout the track listing, both embracing the hand dealt and fast forwarding his new normal.
