Kuko – Awake Alive – Indie Music Contest April 2020

Awake Alive is a song is about mental health, and how it's sometimes difficult to even know you’re depressed. It can lead to you feeling lost, burned out, and go through portions of your life on autopilot. Though it’s a personal song, I believe it promotes empathy towards anyone feeling stuck. All of my music is written, produced, and mixed in my bedroom. Song-writing is a therapeutic process for me, and I hope my audience feels that same sense of release when listening to Awake Alive.
