This track is about the distance between two people. Sometimes in relationships that span long periods of time, conflict between the two people can create distance. Whether it constitutes an unspoken truth, an unresolved conflict, or a muted dissatisfaction, the people in the relationship aim to keep it quiet or under wraps to salvage it, even though letting it out and expressing yourself is really the only thing that can save the relationship.
