Van Isle – Hey

This track was written around a riff that I developed as a high schooler in 2018. Now, 5 years later, it has finally been released as an indie dance track with big sound ambitions. The song thematically centers around a dream, one where I find myself reimagining adventure with a former romantic interest/lover. The upbeat nature of the track juxtaposes the nostalgic and reflective lyrical themes in the chorus, but reflect the hopefulness of the verses.
